30th Anniversary

The Compassionate Friends - Pittsburgh, PA Chapter

at Bower Hill Community Church
Moffett St. off Bower Hill Rd.,Mt. Lebanon, PA.

We are inviting all past and present TCF members (bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents) to join us. Also, at this time, we will remember all our bereaved parents who have died since they joined TCF when their child/children died; we are sure they have gone on to join their beloved children, who were eagerly waiting for them.

We have contacted all past and present leaders of the Pittsburgh Chapter who will enlighten us on the early beginnings of our chapter and help us to see where we have progressed until the present time.

We will have a “White Dove Release,” weather permitting. A white dove release can add a beautiful and soothing touch to a time of sorrow, especially when put to the appropriate music. The releasing of doves symbolizes the letting go of a loved one to return with other souls into heaven.

There will not be any special sharing for April due to the observation of our 30th anniversary. Following, there will be a general sharing and socializing with refreshments.

For the new members, there will be a special sharing if you desire it.
