The Compassionate Friends, Pittsburgh Chapter is proud to dedicate a section in our website, exclusively to talk about "Loved one's death due to Drug".

Since 2010, there is sharing group for those who have lost a child, sibling or grandchild from drug overdoses.

We welcome the members to share the experience, grief and pain due to loss of their loved ones to this devastating disease. Sharing is healing.

John and Cindy Lewis facilitate the group during our monthly meetings. They lost their daughter, Laura, age 31, to drug overdose on January 2009.

We welcome our members to contribute to the newsletter and website, articles, stories and healing related to 'Drug Overdose'.

Give sorrow words.
The grief that does not speak whispers the o'er-fraught heart,
and bids it break.
